出船モードを教習艇で実走しました — 1級小型船舶免許の実技講習と合わせて紹介する動画を公開
2026年9月4日、開発者が1級小型船舶免許の実技講習を受講しました。場所は新潟市のタカハシ万代マリーナ。教習艇で信濃川を下って日本海へ向かう行き帰りに、出船モードを実際の船上で使い、その様子を約110秒の動画にまとめて公式YouTubeチャンネルで公開しました。左にスマートフォンの実画面、右にアプリのマスコットの解説を並べた構成です（英語ナレーション・英語字幕つき）。
動画はボタンを押したときにはじめて YouTube から読み込まれます（プライバシー強化モードの埋め込みを使用）。詳しくは外部送信についてをご覧ください。YouTubeで直接ご覧いただくこともできます。
動画で紹介していること
- 小型船舶操縦士免許と実技講習 — 日本でモーターボートを操縦するには小型船舶操縦士免許が必要です。1級は航行区域に距離の制限がなく、沖合の釣行に向いています。実技では教官の同乗のもと、離岸・着岸・変針・ロープワーク・落水者の救助などを練習します。
- 出船モードの計器 — 釣果マップで「記録開始」を押すと、速度（ノット）・進行方向・経過時間・距離がスマートフォンのGPSから表示されます。
- 航跡が地図に描かれる — 帰路は約14ノットまで加速し、航跡が地図上に伸びていく様子を3.5倍速のタイムラプスで収めています。
- 釣行ログへの保存 — 記録を停止すると、航跡のミニマップ・距離・時間とともに釣行ログに保存され、途中で記録した釣果はその釣行に紐づきます。
※ 出船モードは釣りのための参考情報であり、航海用ではありません。航行には海上保安庁の海図と最新の水路通報・航行警報をご利用ください。水深は GEBCO にもとづくおおよその参考値で、データのある海域でのみ表示されます。航跡と釣行ログはお使いの端末内にのみ保存されます。出船モードは Gold 以上の会員ランクでご利用いただけます（詳しくは使い方ガイド「出船モード」）。
制作について
スマートフォンの画面はすべて実機の録画で、加工していません（録画アプリの操作バーと、録画の末尾に写り込んだ通知の一覧だけを切り落としています。帰路の一部は3.5倍速で、その旨を画面に表示しています）。試験会場の写真とマリーナの映像も当日の実撮影です。一方、右側の解説の声はAI音声合成で、マスコットはアプリに同梱している表情イラストをそのまま使っています。

On September 4, 2026, the developer attended the practical training for Japan's Class 1 small boat license at Takahashi Bandai Marina in Niigata. On the way down the Shinano River toward the Sea of Japan and back, Boat Mode was put to the test on a real training boat — and the result is a 110-second video, now live on our official YouTube channel. The phone's actual screen is on the left, and the app's mascot explains what you see on the right (English narration with English captions).

What the video covers
- The small boat license and its practical training — in Japan you need a small-boat operator's license to drive a motorboat. Class 1 has no distance limit from shore, which makes it the one for offshore fishing trips. With an instructor on board, you practise leaving the dock, docking, turning, rope work and rescuing a person overboard.
- Boat Mode instruments — tap Start recording on the catch map and your speed in knots, heading, elapsed time and distance appear, all from the phone's GPS.
- The track draws itself on the map — on the way back the boat picks up to about 14 knots, shown as a 3.5× time-lapse while the track grows on the map.
- Saving to your trip log — when you stop recording, the trip is saved with a mini-map of the track, distance and time, and catches recorded along the way are matched to the trip.
Boat Mode is reference information for fishing, not for navigation. Use Japan Coast Guard charts and the latest notices to mariners and navigational warnings for navigation. Depth is an approximate reference value from GEBCO, shown only where data is available. Tracks and trip logs are stored only on your device. Boat Mode is available on Gold and above (see the User Guide: Boat Mode).
How it was made
Every phone screen in the video is a real recording and has not been altered — we only cropped the screen recorder's own toolbar and the notification list that appeared at the very end, and part of the return leg runs at 3.5× speed, which is labelled on screen. The photo of the exam venue and the marina footage were also shot on the day. The narration on the right, however, is a synthetic AI voice, and the mascot uses the expression illustrations bundled in the app, unchanged.
