魚図鑑を約1,300種に拡充しました
魚図鑑に約300種を新たに追加し、収録数が合計約1,300種になりました。これまで手薄だった海外の魚を中心に、オリジナルのイラストを一点ずつ描き下ろしています。

新たに加わったおもな仲間
- 世界の淡水魚 — ヨーロッパ・北米・オーストラリア・南米のパイク、パーチ、ザンダー、ヨーロッパのコイ科、北米のブラックバス・サンフィッシュ類など。
- 世界の大物 — ピラルクー、アロワナ、アリゲーターガー、大型の川ナマズ、デンキウナギなど。
- 甲殻類・頭足類 — カニ・ロブスター・ザリガニ・エビ、タコ・イカ・コウイカ。
- サメ・エイ・その他 — サメやエイ、ヤツメウナギ、ハイギョなど。

We have added about 300 new species to the Fish Encyclopedia, bringing the total to about 1,300 species. The additions focus on fish from outside Japan, each with an original illustration drawn one by one.

What's new
- Freshwater fish from around the world — pike, perch, zander, European cyprinids, and North American black basses and sunfishes from Europe, North America, Australia, and South America.
- Giants of the world's waters — arapaima, arowanas, alligator gar, large river catfishes, electric eel, and more.
- Crustaceans and cephalopods — crabs, lobsters, crayfishes, and prawns; octopuses, squids, and cuttlefishes.
- Sharks, rays, and more — sharks and rays, lampreys, and lungfish.

- Species without a standard Japanese name are shown by their English name (or scientific name if none exists).
- Some descriptions are AI-generated drafts that we are reviewing over time. For safety, always confirm species identification and whether a fish is venomous with the real specimen.
- Names and taxonomy are sourced from GBIF. The encyclopedia illustrations are © World Fishing Map; please do not reproduce or reuse them without permission.
