魚図鑑を約2,500種に拡充しました
魚図鑑に新たに95種を追加し、収録数が合計約2,500種になりました。今回は、北太平洋のロックフィッシュ（メバル科）12種を中心に、チョウザメ科、南米アマゾンのシクリッドやナマズ類、南アフリカ・オーストラリアの沿岸魚介類まで、世界各地の個性豊かな仲間を描き下ろしています。

新たに加わったおもな仲間
- 北太平洋のロックフィッシュ — 100年以上生きる長寿種として知られる「イエローアイ・ロックフィッシュ」など、北米太平洋岸のメバル科12種をまとめて収載。
- チョウザメ科 — アドリア海固有の希少種からヨーロッパ産のコチョウザメまで、チョウザメ属3種。
- アマゾンの巨大魚 — 虎柄の巨大ナマズ「オリノコ・タイガーショベルノーズ」や、人気のピーコックバス（シクリッド）など、南米アマゾン水系のゲームフィッシュ。
- 南アフリカ・オーストラリアの沿岸魚介類 — 二枚貝を噛み砕く大型のタイ科魚「マッセルクラッカー」など、個性的な沿岸魚介類。

We have added 95 more species to the Fish Encyclopedia, bringing the total to about 2,500 species. This update centers on 12 North Pacific rockfish species, along with sturgeons, Amazonian cichlids and catfish, and coastal species from South Africa and Australia — each illustrated one by one.

What's new
- North Pacific rockfish — 12 Sebastes species including the Yelloweye rockfish, known to live over 100 years.
- Sturgeons — three Acipenser species, from a critically endangered Adriatic endemic to the widespread European sterlet.
- Amazon giants — the striped Orinoco tiger catfish and popular peacock bass (cichlids) from South America's river systems.
- Coastal species from South Africa and Australia — the White musselcracker, a large seabream known for crushing shellfish with powerful jaws, among other distinctive coastal fish.
