魚図鑑を約2,200種に拡充しました
魚図鑑に新たに194種を追加し、収録数が合計約2,200種になりました。今回は、沖縄などのサンゴ礁でおなじみのクマノミ・スズメダイ・チョウチョウウオの仲間から、オーストラリア沿岸の温帯リーフ魚、中東紅海の魚たち、そして中南米・アフリカの淡水に潜む大型ゲームフィッシュまで、世界各地の釣り・観察対象を幅広く描き下ろしています。

新たに加わったおもな仲間
- サンゴ礁の人気者 — カクレクマノミ・クマノミ・ハナビラクマノミなどのクマノミ類、ホンソメワケベラ、ツノダシ、多彩なスズメダイ・チョウチョウウオの仲間。
- 豪州の温帯リーフ魚 — 世界最大級のベラの仲間ウエスタンブルーグローパー、独特の姿のオールドワイフなど。
- 中南米・アフリカの淡水ゲームフィッシュ — 牙を持つ「ペイラ」ことカショーロ、希少なロイヤルピーコックバス、アフリカ最大級の肉食魚タンガニーカタイガーフィッシュなど。
- 日本の身近な魚介も — 冬の高級魚オニカサゴ級のフサカサゴ類、琵琶湖固有のニゴロブナ、絶滅が心配されるタナゴ類など。

We have added 194 more species to the Fish Encyclopedia, bringing the total to about 2,200 species. This update ranges from clownfish, damselfish, and butterflyfish familiar from Okinawa's coral reefs, to temperate reef fish from the Australian coast, fish of the Red Sea, and large freshwater gamefish from Latin America and Africa — each illustrated one by one.
How species look in the app encyclopedia — available in both Japanese and English.
What's new
- Coral reef favorites — clownfish species (Ocellaris, Clark's, Pink skunk, and more), the bluestreak cleaner wrasse, the Moorish idol, and a wide range of damselfish and butterflyfish.
- Australian temperate reef fish — the Western blue groper (one of the world's largest wrasses) and the striking Old wife.
- Freshwater gamefish from Latin America and Africa — the fanged "payara", the prized royal peacock bass, and the African tigerfish, one of the continent's largest predatory fish.
- Familiar Japanese species too — prized winter rockfish, Lake Biwa's endemic Nigorobuna, and threatened native bitterlings.
