Welcome
Share your knowledge. Benefit from the knowledge of others.
Help us add every rockbar, reef, wreck, boat ramp and bait shop to create the world's foremost fishing map resource.
The exciting World Fishing Map web site was launched this month by FISH FINDER TM Fishing Maps in Darwin, NT, Australia.
The World Fishing Map is a zoomable, scaled satellite image of the earth with Lat Long positions provided in a decimal readout. Use the map at its simplest level by zooming to areas of interest and taking Lat Long for your GPS.
The great power of this web site is that users can easily leave markers on the map showing rockbars, reefs, holes, snags, wrecks, sandbars, boat ramps, bait shops, boating hazards etc.
This free map service will ultimately provide an enormously useful database of fishing material. We don't expect users to give away secret spots, but we do ask you to find 10 minutes to add some useful markers while you are here. We believe every fishermen will have some local knowledge that they can contribute - because this map is very new, much information is missing.
Contributors will be put in a regular prize draw for fishing DVDs and lure packs. Prizes will be announced on the forum on this web site.
