A question for international fishermen - who's local fishing patch has been affected by changing trends in the weather?

The area around Botany Bay has been affected in a positive way. The fish are much further up stream in both numbers and size. We have had some rain recently so this will increase the activity in both river and bay areas.
A bit of concern is the upcoming desalination plant and the outfall of dense salt water and chemicals. I would not think the outlets will be too far off shore. It would be good to see them about 3 ks off the coast to allow good dispersal of the heavy water. The pipeline across the bay wil also impact on the weed beds and the breeding ground of a considerable number of species.
