I am in the process of upgrading from a 4m tinny to an inshore open water boat(5m).
I have been looking at some twin hull boats , the whisper is that while being very stable and great in powering thru swells, that at rest in rough water they are very unsteady (may roll over) when hit on the side by a swell .
If anyone has one or experienced any faults Id be very interested.
Thanks for that, I have talked to a few more twin hull boat owners and they say they would never buy a single hull , so a twin hull maybe back on the shopping list .
