tinny reno,,,,, more to come

thought i'd tinker with the tinny on one of my rare rdo's,,,,,, the urge to throw it in the water to have a fish was strong,,,(believe me),,, but on a glorious bribie island day,,, i decided to start on the reno,,,,

this was stage one,,,, i'll post more as it progresses,,,, and yep,,, its a bit radical,,,, but you've seen nothing yet

the above pics see the boat as it was,,,, bar about an hour of """"hand scouring""",, then what i thought was to be a quick de sticker job,,, found that ALL stickers were actually stuck to the originally ally,, and painted around

off to the hardware,,,, acetone please,,, and more labour

worst part of the original paintwork was on the transom,,,,, wire brush and scouring fixed this,,,, off with the lid,,,, sit back and have a scotch time

a generous coating of etch pro,,,,, had to put the lid back on temporarily,,,, sun was making the scotch hot

i had this specially made through the last week,,,, and it goes right there,,,,,,

this will house nav lights,,,, anchor light,,, and aerials on top,,,, the side panels don't get wasted either,,, on the starboard side there will be a ""special"" photo al*** style panel to keep maps in check,,, storage shelves,,,

port side will have sounder,,,,gps,,, fitted and another unique storage system to keep leaders in place

the spreader bar has been purposely shaped this way for strength,,, AND to allow a panel to fit lighting,,,, switch panel,,,, and a cubby hole for valuables
