Soft plastics for bream

Anyone got an opinion on colours for soft plastics for bream?

I have started using soft plastics for black bream in WA's southern lakes, and having mixed success. Catch more on bait but I prefer catching them on lures when I can.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I have found that lure colour does not make much difference. It's the action that makes the difference. Try slowing down your retrieve or putting more action into the lure. I find that just twitching the tip of the rod works most of the time. Are you fishing for them in shallow water, deep water or snags? If you are able too, try sight fishing for them. (and any other speices actually) It will give you an idea of how the lure is performing and what actions affect the fish in what ways. Practice makes perfect....
