So the twin hull went out the window and I bought a fibreglass Seafarer 5m.

I have taken a few guys out with me (most boat owners) and there amazed at the speed I can do in big seas , I thought nothing of it . Since then I have done a bit of web surfing and have to agree the hull is great . The boat has a 90 horse johno on it and it is only ever in the 2500-3000 rpm mark in big seas, . In the lake I have clocked 58km/h (white knuckled)

.I suspect the prop has been changed to suit water skiing .It is a very dry ride as long as the wind is not gale force. I can understand why the Haines group bought the Seafarer business.
