a couple of months back,,, the old plano tackle box that has served me well for ages decided that i had too much stuff in it and called it a day,,,, the rear hinge on the back of the top lid (that had been repaired once already) said enoughs enough,,,, and died

then,,,,, chopjr is assisting granddad to sort out some of his fishing stuff,,, and discovers that the little daiwa minicast rod,,,, that again has been part of my (favorite) collection,,, comes apart in 5 sections,,,, DO YOU KNOW THAT SICKENING FEELING THAT YOU GET WHEN YOUR ABOUT TO SAY TO SOMEONE,,,,,NO,,,,,,BUT AS THE WORD LEAVES YOUR MOUTH,,,,,,,its toooooo late,,,,,,,,,snap!!!!!!!!!,,,,,,,,,unrepairable

THEN,,, i got home last tuesday around 7pm,,,, popped the garage door and hit the remote to close it as i was walking inside,,, i distinctly heard a noise,,,, but ignored it,,,

following morning,,,bright and early,,, (the sun was juuuusssttt rising),,, i could make out that one of my rod butts was poking out from under the garage door,,,

that's funny i thought,,,, don't recall putting that there,,,,

opened door and found this lying on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
