Occasionally markers will "fly off" when they are submitted and end up in Indonesia or some other unintended place.

I have also had reports markers moving slightly, but I have not confirmed this. I believe that if Google fixes a problem with the underlying satellite map in terms of its geodetic position, it might make a marker appear to move when in fact it is the Google map that has moved.

At this stage I fix dud markers myself but you could tell me about them to help out - just leave a message in this forum and I will get to it asap.

At this stage most users can't edit their own markers because of limitations in the software script - this will soon be fixed. Please make sure your marker is OK before clicking the submit button.

Made a blue with a mark in Cairns inlet .
Marked it as a boat ramp , should be a bottom fishing spot.

posted a couple of bottom fishing spots in leaders creek, that seemed to have moved they should be at the junction of the creek mouth not on land as shown

THat should have plotted in botany bay according to my GPS. Somehow it ended up out bush .

Sorry Matt, I stuffed up a mark at Tin Can Islet (in behind Rainbow Beach). "Teebar Ledge" should have been a bottom fishing spot, not a ramp. If you like, just delete it & I'll put it back next time.
