I have recently began to try my hand at catching my own 'beach worms'. I have very slowly began to get the hang of it but I still have a long way to go...... Currently I have been able to catch about 4-5 worms each time I go, that is out of the 100's I attempt to catch each time I try. I have been using the worms on the next high tide as I was not too sure about freezing them. I have heard that you can dip them in metho for a few seconds before freezing. I would be greatful for any advice on this matter.

Not an expert in the worm catching either (i normally have more heads than worms ), but i found keeping them in some cool sand rapped in a dampish cloth and kept out of the sun works well for only the few hours you have to wait for the high tide. Dipping in metho is good if you a going be waiting for a few days before use. Yet i found that i have had live worms for at least 10 hours when i have done this.
