bribie starts with a "B",, so does BARRA
the old grapevine on the island has been a buzz this week,,, with the report of a barra being caught just south of the bribie bridge,,,
when i first heard this,,, i thought,,, thats enough for you,,, and lets discuss why theres STILL so many blue swimmers about at this time of year,,,,
i must admit,,, the reports of so many species being seen/caught/or just here has had me a bit bemuddled,,, that ""stalk eyed swimmer""" that i encountered a few trips back still has me stuffed,,,
but when you get someone who doesn't even live on the island,,,, and probably hasn't fished the passage in awhile,,, reporting the same thing on a different website,, it makes ya wonder,,,,,
this pic was posted on *******,,,, by a moderator,,,, and yep,,, i've looked close at it,,, can't see any evidence of photoshop,,, its definitely the bribie bridge,,, and its definitely a BARRA
keep in mind,,, it was only a few months back that a BARRA was caught in maroochydore ans was CONFIRMED,,,, so i 'spose the passage would be an ideal place to visit
