Fished with Aaron Sloan of Free Time Fishing. It was a 5am pick up (wife said "Bloody early") and a drive to the first of many rivers. Hooked a few fish then landed my first trout on fly , 3lb. Seeing that she just spawned she was released. Then off to another river ,2 more fish on fly , then a missile erupted from the water , Aaron yelled at me to keep the line tight but I have never seen a 9 lb trout 1m out of the water so it will be my target for next time .It was a great 1/2 day, my arm ached and the grin remained for days.
